It is mandatory for all exchange students coming to Denmark to have insurance.

Family to Family

Should be covered by your own insurance, else additional insurance can be bought. 

Camp

Should be covered by you own traweller insurance, some camps have additional insurance, it will then be stated at the camp invitation
